Wedding Under the Stars

One of the aspects I love about weddings is how different each bride is. Every couple has their own "priority list" and dream of their wedding.

Keri & Elijah were a spunky couple that definitely didn't play by the traditional rules. Their creative outlook to life was clearly represented on the day they became one. From a Sunday evening ceremony to a Platinum Silver wedding dress, the event sparkled like the stars above.

The Scottsdale Wedding Walk

We were the location for The Scottsdale Wedding Walk which was a Bridal Show like no other. We had 40 top-notch vendors that had super creative displays that catered to getting to know the brides. We had a rockin' fashion show with tons of Boho-Chic ladies and some debonair gentlemen too. Brides also had a chance to walk around Old Town and visit some local wedding neighbors on a beautiful Sunday.

Potential

Potential, in other words: blossoming, hidden, future and within realm of possibility. Troy Brinkerhoff was able to capture the potential of The Venue Scottsdale at a photo-shoot a couple of weeks ago. The team we had was A-MAZING!!

How fun is this going to be?! We are so excited to be the location for the most amazing bridal experience. Big bridal shows have their perks, but The Scottsdale Wedding Walk will give you a chance to have an up-close and personal time with each of the hand-picked vendors.

EIA ReCharge!

Wow. We had an amazing event last night! With 500 Special Events Industry professionals and 16 vendors, the energy was electric! The Venue has been "Recharged" and is ready for 2012!

Thank you Rick with Living Energy for giving me a wave for the picture :) Here are a few highlights of my evening:

~Donuts, Donuts, Donuts! Rich and Lee Holcomb with Cappucino Subito & Bubbie Mini Donuts had the most delicious (and I'm sure zero calorie!) treats
~Creative Backstage provided the LED facade that you see in the first picture. Such a great way to create focus to the stage! And they really entertained guests with Pixal Paint!
~Kool staged the event with lighted tables, banquettes and acrylic chairs that highlighted our facility beautifully

Other vendors who added so much to the night:

• Rochelle Planty with Rockin R Events was super successful in organizing the event
• Katie with Lux Florist designed gorgeous arrangements
• Curtis Whipple was as easy breezy as always as the DJ and MC
• Barb with Green Screen provided such a fun experience and picture (Chef and I got a picture with Homer Simpson!!)
• Lisa Pressman Ensemble set the tone with her voice, the guitar, keyboard and sax
• Creations in Cuisine, Fresh From the Kitchen, Straight to the Plate and Maggiano's served fantastic food
• Classic Party Rentals dressed the tables matching our Blue and Green theme
• Sonoran Studios set the ambiance with their amazing lighting
• Cyndi Hardy was busy taking pictures all night
• And a big thanks to Yknot Party Rentals for literally rolling out the red carpet!

These are a few phrases we hear over and over about the event industry professionals that will be at The Venue Scottsdale this Tuesday January 10th. We are privileged to host the 2nd Annual ReCharge! Industry Mixer for over 300 hotshots for an energy filled evening.

We are excited to strengthen and start relationships, see the latest and greatest, but mostly show off our AMAZING facility. We are making upgrades and enhancements at The Venue daily and we want to brag!
